Our Mission

The Indian Health Service (IHS) Division of Diabetes Treatment and Prevention is responsible for developing, documenting, and sustaining clinical and public health efforts to treat and prevent diabetes in American Indians and Alaska Natives.

Advancements in Diabetes Seminars – Join us monthly for a series of one-hour WebEx seminars for diabetes program professionals.

New Urine Albumin Screening and Monitoring in Type 2 Diabetes Algorithm Card – provides clinicians with a quick reference to screening and monitoring chronic kidney disease based on national guidelines.
